The Dream Team: Miami Hurricanes Backfield featuring TreVonte' Citizen, Chris Johnson, & Mark Fletcher

The Miami Hurricanes backfield is set to unveil two of the most electrifying running backs in the nation: TreVonte' Citizen and Chris Johnson.

Citizen, a standout recruit from Louisiana, has fully recovered from an injury that sidelined him for nearly two years. Now, he's not only back on the field but also earning first-team reps this spring, indicating his readiness to contribute.

Citizen's readiness is evident as showcased by his Instagram post today where he appears to be squatting what looks like a house. With his return, he's set to become a cornerstone of our running back rotation, which includes Mark Fletcher and Chris Johnson, with Jordan Lyle also in the mix for carries.

Johnson adds another dimension to our backfield with his exceptional track speed and reliable hands. Although he played sparingly last season, burning his redshirt, he's primed to make a significant impact this year. Look for him to be utilized in various roles to capitalize on his game-breaking abilities.

While Fletcher is sidelined this spring, his presence is felt, providing Citizen and Johnson with valuable opportunities to hone their skills and solidify their roles within the team. With this trio of talented running backs, the Hurricanes' ground game is set to be a force to be reckoned with in the upcoming season.
